SAPS promotes Nandipha Magudumana whistleblower
An SAPS officer has been promoted for the work he did uncovering the crimes committed by Thabo Bester accomplice, Nandipha Magudumana.
The SAPS officer who got the wheels going in bringing down Dr Nandipha Magudumana and her partner, convicted rapist Thabo Bester has gained national recognition.
The officer, who can’t be named for safety reasons, received the Police Minister’s Special Award.
For his stellar work, the Free State based cop, was promoted from constable to warrant officer in the SAPS at the 9th National Excellence Awards 2024, on Friday evening.
With an eagle eye, the officer noticed that there are dead bodies that are repeatedly being collected by a woman- now known to be Magudumana.
According to reports, Magudumana, in a bid to help Bester escape from jail, took three bodies from Mortuaries in the Free State. Two of the bodies were said to be used as part for Bester’s failed prison escape. One of the bodies was later discovered dumped in the river.
Magudumana remains behind bars after the Bloemfontein High Court dismissed her bail appeal application.
